At Crystallight Junior School, we believe every child can shine when given the right support. Our journey started as a small daycare in 2013, but our purpose has always been bigger than our buildings: to raise confident, responsible learners with strong values and a love for learning.

We are proud of our first KCPE class in 2023 — our top learner scored 390, and our mean was 341/500. For a first attempt, we truly tried our best with what we had, and the results gave our community renewed trust. Since then, the school has grown quickly, and today we serve 200+ learners.

We also carry a deep commitment to vulnerable children. Thirty of our learners are supported through sponsorship, including orphans and children from local homes. We want every child to learn with dignity — with textbooks, clean facilities, safe water, and a supportive school environment.

If you are a parent, sponsor, or partner: thank you for walking this journey with us. Your support makes real, daily impact in the life of a child.

Our commitment is to deliver quality CBC education with discipline, consistency, and care. We focus on strong basics — reading, writing, and numeracy — while also nurturing character, respect, teamwork, and confidence.

The KCPE 2023 results encouraged us greatly, especially because it was our first class. With improved learning materials and a better learning environment, we can raise performance even further and support every learner to reach their potential.

Today, our biggest needs include textbooks for every learner, basic learning requirements, safe water and handwashing stations, improved toilets, better furniture, and essential technology for research and digital literacy. These are not luxuries — they are the tools that help learners learn faster, healthier, and with dignity.

We welcome parents and partners to work with us. When a school and community stand together, children succeed.

Appeal & Support Needed

Help us improve learning resources, hygiene, and dignity for every learner

Our school has grown quickly because parents have trusted our teaching and our KCPE results. However, our facilities and resources are still modest. Many families struggle with consistent fee payments, and we also support 30 vulnerable learners through sponsorship. With your support, we can create a cleaner, safer, and better-equipped environment.

Your donation or partnership can directly provide textbooks, basic learning requirements, improved sanitation, reliable water access, furniture for kindergarten learners, and essential technology (computers & TV) to support the CBC curriculum and research-based learning.

Fee Stability Support

Many parents rely on informal work, causing delayed fee payments. This makes it hard to improve facilities beyond basic operations.

Textbooks for Every Learner

Many families cannot afford textbooks, forcing learners to share or copy from limited teacher copies—slowing syllabus coverage and understanding.

Basic Requirements & Uniforms

Some learners lack notebooks, pencils, tissues, geometrical sets, school bags, and proper uniforms—essentials for dignity, equality, and daily learning.

Toilet Facilities Upgrade

With 200+ learners, current facilities are inadequate. We need more toilets and upgrades (including tiling) to improve hygiene and comfort.

Water & Handwashing Stations

We purchase water at high recurring costs and have limited handwashing stations. We aim for a reliable connection plus rainwater harvesting tanks.

School Meals Support

Some learners come without food or bring unbalanced meals. A consistent feeding program would improve health, focus, and attendance.

Furniture for Kindergarten & Staff

Kindergarten learners need age-appropriate chairs and tables, and teachers need proper workstations. Some existing furniture is worn out.

Technology (Computers & TV)

To support research-based learning and IT literacy, we need computers and a television for educational audio-visual learning.

Sponsor textbooks and learning materials

Support toilets, tiling, and handwashing stations

Support water connection and rainwater harvesting tanks

Support a consistent school feeding program

Contribute towards computers for digital literacy
